I received top-notch assistance from CJCycles. After misplacing screws from the mudguard bridge on my carbon Giant Defy, I made a Saturday call to CJC. They quickly figured out what I needed, found the parts, and called me back on Monday morning to provide them for free. I’m absolutely thrilled with the support and help I got. Just brilliant!

It took three weeks for my order to arrive, when it should've only taken six days. I wish I had known that before making the purchase. The bike I received has tires that don’t appear new; there are marks on them and a scratch on the rim. Plus, there was some lubricant residue left on it, so I had to clean off some smudges. It really seems like they didn’t bother to clean the bike properly, and it’s just the principle of the matter. I was planning to buy another bike for my cousin, but now I’m definitely reconsidering. Oh, and there’s also a mark on the side.

I bought a fresh set of wheels from an online shop (not CJ Performance), but sadly, the centrelock disc ring from my old wheels didn’t match up with the new ones. I needed an internal thread instead of the external one. I called them up just to see if they had any in stock, and lucky me, they found a couple in their workshop. This meant I could get the wheels mounted and ready to go without having to wait for a delivery. Top-notch service!

I found myself in a situation where I had to seek out repair shops, as I needed some urgent work done for a charity bike ride the next day. CJ Performance could've been a bit more supportive and professional during this critical time. I’ll definitely be turning to CJ Performance for all my cycling needs moving forward.

I just had my first interaction with PJ Performance, and I gotta say, I'm really impressed. They handled a complete service and rebuilt/replaced the gears. The bike rides way better now. Fantastic team and excellent service, highly recommend.

Luke just did some work for me, swapping out a few parts, and the whole thing was smooth and done like a pro.

I scheduled a service, but when I got there, they said it wasn’t on the books for that day, although they fixed it. They mentioned needing my bike for a day and a half, so I made some pricey arrangements. Imagine my surprise when I got a text just 1.5 hours later saying the service was done. I asked for a silver service since I was going on a tour, but they downgraded it to bronze without even letting me know. Because of that, the work I wanted done didn’t happen, yet I still had to pay for the lesser checks. The staff were pretty rude and disrespectful in the shop. They even replied to my previous Google review, implying it was my fault. They just didn’t get why I was upset when I picked up my bike and with their comments in the store.

I paid for the bronze service. The first time I took the bike out at the lakes, a spoke broke. I had to stop by the cycle shop in Keswick. They fixed the spoke but warned me not to ride too far because the back brake was unsafe; it was sticking and needed a good clean and strip down. It was obvious that it hadn’t been checked during the service. I wouldn’t go back again.

Having been disappointed by a different bike shop, CJPerformance Cycles came through with the bike I had purchased from another place. They really went the extra mile to ensure I got it fast. It showed up nicely packed and all set to hit the road. I can't recommend them enough!

After I raised my concerns on November 24th, 2021, the problems I pointed out have been addressed, and Chris has followed up on the issues I faced in a very professional and thorough way. Because of this, I’m totally happy with how things turned out. I really appreciate the follow-up and couldn’t have asked for anything better. Thanks a bunch!

I'm really happy I chose CJPerformance Cycles after I saw they had the right bike in my size.

There was a minor issue with the bike when it arrived from the supplier. Stephen let me know about it right away and took care of everything like a pro - I was super impressed with how well he communicated and kept things transparent.

I've been riding the bike for over six months now and I absolutely love it. I'm gearing up for another ride this weekend.

I placed an order for some Cube handlebars that the site claimed were available, but after ten days of waiting, I reached out to ask about the delivery. I was informed they were still waiting on them from their supplier. The manager, Stephen Scrafton, offered a weak excuse, saying the site indicates they are in stock at the supplier instead of their own inventory. He even attempted to pin the blame on their web provider for the confusing info on the site.

I picked up a road bike at the Newcastle location. The team was fantastic and took the time to answer all my questions while I figured out which ride to choose. A couple of months later, I got a bike fitting to adjust everything just right. That made a big difference. Now, three years later, I bring my bike back for all its maintenance.
